Eightfold Path

In Buddhism, the Eightfold Path is a set of practices laid out by the Buddha that lead to enlightenment. They provide a framework for living wisely, ethically, and with mental discipine. Right Speech

Communicating truthfully, harmoniously, and kindly

Right View (Understanding)

Cultivating thoughts of renunciation, goodwill, and harmlessness

Right Action

Recognizing the true nature of reality, including the Four Noble Truths

Right Thought (Intention)

Acting ethically and without harm

Right Effort

Pursuing work that does not cause harm to others

Right Livelihood

Fostering positive mental states while overcoming negative ones

Right Mindfulness

Maintaining awareness of body, feeling, mind, and surrounding phenomena
